Here are some tips to remember when buying designer shoes.  Designer shoes are an investment, sure you can find some good deals sometimes - like the ones on this site :-) but by no means are they 'dirt cheap' so pay attention and take care of your shoes.

  1. Always make sure of the size - if buying online go to the store and try on that pair or a similar one unless you really know your size
  2. I know its all about the looks ladies but come on...make sure they are a little comfy
  3. When you try them on always try both on and walk around for TWO minutes
  4. Some styles of heels cause more difficulty than others so know which heels you are most comfortable with
  5. Remember what your budget is, don't overspend no matter how tempting those $800 Manolo's are.
  6. Inspect the stitching and the labels on the shoes when you get them or try them on to ensure the quality since many fake shoes can be identified in the stitching.
  7. Make sure the designer shoe you are buying has a strong strap since this is the first thing that goes and you don't want to spend a chunk of change on something that is going to break, but usually the really good designer brand shoes have solid straps in place.
